FHA
Mortgage
The Federal Housing administration, a government
agency created in 1934, provides insurance on some types of mortgage
loans. An FHA-insurce loan also allows you to buy a house with a low
down payment of 3%. Certain mortgage loans may require an upfront
mortgage insurance premium at closing. This loan is attractive to
many first time homebuyers due to the low downpayment.
